How we do it

What happens when you bring it in

  1. Test

We test the battery's health, the charger and the charging port separately, so we replace only what is actually faulty.

  2. Match

Batteries must match your exact model and part number. Some are removable, many are inside the laptop.

  3. Quote

We confirm the price and timing before we order or fit anything.

  4. Fit and test

We fit the battery, calibrate it and check charging and runtime before handing the laptop back.

Safety first: if the battery is swollen, the case is bulging or the trackpad is lifting, stop charging and using the laptop and bring it in. Swollen lithium batteries can be dangerous.
Questions

Battery replacement: common questions

How do I know if it's the battery or the charger?

Slow charging, a charger that gets very hot or a loose charging port can look like a battery fault. We test each part separately so you replace only what is faulty.

Can I just buy a battery and fit it myself?

Some laptops have removable batteries, but many have internal ones. The wrong battery can damage the laptop, so we match it to your exact model.

How can I make a new battery last longer?

Keep the laptop cool, avoid leaving it at 100% on the charger for days, and use the original or a good quality charger.
