What can you install on my laptop?
Windows, drivers, office and everyday applications, specialist programs for your work, and utility software such as backup and security tools. We use genuine licences or free software, and we do not install pirated copies.
Can you help me if I forgot my laptop password?
For genuine owners, yes. We ask for proof of ownership first. You can also read our guide on recovering a forgotten password, which covers the official routes you can try yourself.
Will I lose my files if you reinstall Windows?
Not if we back them up first, which is the first step we take. Tell us what matters most: documents, photos, desktop files and browser bookmarks.
Is my laptop slow because of a virus or the hardware?
Both are common. An old hard drive, low RAM or heat can also slow a laptop down. We check the hardware as well as the software, and may suggest an SSD or RAM upgrade.
Can you remove ransomware?
We can remove the malware, but files encrypted by ransomware often can't be restored without a backup. Stop using the laptop, bring it in quickly and keep regular backups afterwards.
